I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2019. I have an undergraduate joint honors degree in English and Linguistics from University College Dublin, and a masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy from University of Limerick.
I am trained in the assessment, intervention, and management of communication disorders and Feeding, Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing (FEDS). I have a passion for Evidence Based Practice, and have a background working in research, and was the recipient of the IASLT 2019 student award for the research I conducted as part of my masters thesis. I have experience working in educational, hospital, and community settings, and have found my main interests in helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Language Disorder reach their communicative potential. I also am very passionate about empowering parents to support their children’s communication.
